Bio
Dr. Vimy Henderson is a Principal Engineer at PTech Engineering Solutions Inc. and has more
than 12 years of experience in consulting engineering. Dr. Henderson has a Bachelor’s degree and
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo. She has extensive experience in
pavement and materials engineering, providing asset management, design, construction, project
specification and research consulting to municipal, provincial and privates ownersfor road, airport,
rail and port authorities and design build teams. Her experience in lab testing and non destructive
data collection and analysis allow her to help clients understand the condition of their assets and
make informed decisions for the future. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo
and a Sessional Lecturer at McMaster University in Pavement and Materials Engineering and
Infrastructure Management.
